For the first time Adoptionscentrum has organized a study tour for a group of our committed members to visit projects and partner organization abroad.
The group with nine participants joined a week-long travel to South Africa together with staff from Adoptionscentrum. It was a life-changing and very emotional experience where the participants were able to practice out in community-based projects and in institutions in order to learn more about the situation for vulnerable children in the country.
The group will now function as informants and share their experiences with other members and they are right now busy preparing articles for our member magazine. Expenses for the travel were covered by the Adoptionscentrum’s members themselves.
The group was hosted and very well taken care of by our South African partners, SA Cares for Life and NACCW.
