11-13 May, Adoptionscentrum and the ‘Karolinska University Hospital’ - are hosting a Child Right’s Conference in Stockholm, Sweden, focusing on children living with HIV.
The participants are coming from 15 countries in 4 continents and they are mainly representing NGOs who are partnering with Adoptionscentrum in development projects financed by ‘Forum Syd/Sida’.
The focus is to discuss the present situation concerning HIV-prevention; testing and treatment, but also to identify alternative family based solutions for children who today are placed in institutions due to their HIV-status.
We hope this conference will offer the participants a good networking experience; an opportunity to share ideas and knowledge - and to be an inspiration for new ideas on how to improve the life of these children.
